Meet the Maker - House of Rothach
Everyone has been raving about the House of Rothach wax melts included in their Beautiful Botanicals hamper, and quite rightly so. The County Garden scent, which is unique & exclusive to House of Rothach, is just beautiful. It is the first scent you notice opening our hamper, and retains a strong scent without being overpowering. Each melt is topped with beautiful botanicals and packed in an elegant box, making it a stunning and luxurious treat or gift. House of Rothach is a firm favourite at Independent Hamper Co and we can't wait to try all of the other products from candles to diffusers to room mists!
Niki from House of Rothach has given us a bit more of an insight into HoR and her products.
Tell us the story behind House of Rothach and what you love most about your company?
For as long as I can remember, I have always loved scent and the way it affects emotions and memories. I had been making candles as a hobby then giving them to family and friends & finally took the plunge in 2018 to turn my hobby into a passionate little business and I haven't looked back since. I was always keen to create a natural style, also with a sense of luxury in design and scent choice. Money is precious and it gives me great satisfaction knowing people are choosing to spend their hard earned cash on products I have made...I still jump for joy with every new order that comes in!
What other products do you offer?
I started off just doing candles but that has grown into a full range of home fragrance products: candles, reed diffusers, home & linen mists, botanical wax melts, wax air/melts and fragrance oils.
Tell us more about the Country Garden scent exclusive to House of Rothach?
The Country Gardens is one of 3 fragrances created by me which are completely unique to House of Rothach. Their inspiration comes from visiting places in and around Scotland and capturing those moments in a scent. The Country Gardens reminds me of a day spent in a beautiful little cottage in Perthshire having a cuppa and the smell of the flowers in the garden was being brought in by the shallow breeze. That's how the Country Gardens was born and I describe it as a modern floral scent like nothing else you will have smelled!
